If you’re tired of drinking the same old tea, then pull out your electric pressure cooker and prepare this refreshing Ginger Vanilla tea. You can drink it hot or iced. And this recipe works in the Instant Pot or any other electric pressure cooker.

Easy Ginger Vanilla Tea Recipe for Instant Pot (or any electric pressure cooker)

Yield: 6
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 13 minutes

Ingredients

  • honey, to taste (1 tbsp - 1/4 cup recommended)
  • 1-inch piece ginger root, cut into 6 slices
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tea bags black tea, (English Breakfast or your preferred blend)

Instructions

  1. Add water and honey to pot. Put pot on warm and stir until honey dissolves into water.
  2. Add ginger and vanilla to pot. Stir.
  3. Add teabags and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally.

Notes

Tip: The longer the tea sits, the stronger it will be. Tip: If immediately icing tea, use 2 more teabags and remove lid to cool for 10-20 minutes to ensure full flavor.
